Just got my RB25 put back together and left the DMV with one of those registrations that last for 7 days. It needs an inspection. So I go home to check my lights and make sure they all work. Turned on my turn signals for the driver side and they work just fine. The front parking light blinks like its suppose to as well as the rear tail light. I turn on the signal for the passenger side and it blinks fast. I know when a light blinks fast, it usually means there is a blown bulb somewhere. All of my bulbs are working. What could be the issue.

Mod list that might have something to do with it:

-Retrofited 300zx N/A speedometer and tach
-Supermade headlights with HID Fogs and yellow fogs

If someone could point me in the right direction I would be greatly appreciated. I have 6 days now to figure this out, Get my car tuned and then inspected.

Thanks

Typically, it's either a bad flasher or an incorrect bulb (wrong wattage).

check the front turn signal bulb on the fast blinking side, thhen compare to the other one.
ive had this happen to me before and it was because the (fast blinking side) bulb had only one filament and that would be your problem
or rear bulb, lol
pulll all four, and compare.

I swapped the front turn signals plugs with pigtail and the problem switched from one side to the other. Immediately I knew something was wrong with the pigtail/plug itself. I had already checked the bulbs and rotated them around. What I found was the black wire in the plug, evidently is connected to the base of the bulb housing. If you look at the bottom left side of the picture, that's where the black wire comes in and touches the bulb housing.

I pulled the wire through the bottom of the plug and tried to strip and solder back to the bulb housing but the solder and material the the housing is made of didn't mix.

So I just stripped the and layed half of it inside the bulb housing so that the bulb once installed would keep the wire in place. I only did this b/c I need to get my car inspected but as soon as I find a parts 240 or a 240 at the junk yard ill snatch one up.

Cheers
