Blinker Noises

I was backing out today in my S14A (lets just say stock cause it pretty much is) and had an odd clicking noise. It was the exact same noise that blinkers make when activated but was going on faster intervals and they were not on. It would only make the noise while I was backing out (not just in reverse, but on the gas), is this a common problem?

I have the same problem with my altima! thats exactly how it started and it just got worse. we replaced the dash, but it still makes the noise. Anybody know about this problem?

Its just seems odd is all. I mean if it were something like my car steers to the right I could fix that, but this is just kinda odd.
