Hey...i remember those cars. This years TAS. I think that one of the Elise might be the one i posted the weekend after the show in my TAS thread. Either me or the guy from cali that went. That silvia was really bright...specially if you looked at the wrong angle and got a massive *** reflection.

Yeah must be from TAS... don't remember seeing it in other thread, but I'm sure it's there since a rear shot was posted. Paint? Er... isn't that full out chrome? I've seen an M3 done like that as well.

You drive in the country you'll get shot in that car. They'll think your a d@m UFO.Wonder if the cops can give you a ticket for that.Wonder if they can clock you.Be a pretty good defense,"Here is a pic of my car on the freeway where you *supposedly clocked me* Picture is taken where your car was sitting." Just total glare. So your tellign me that you could see past all the sun shining into your eyes?

there has to be a full res pic already....like members rides automatically rescales images and adds -med to the end of the file name, that way you make a a link to the full res and instead of text use the file name with the-med....this pic doesn't have -med at the end of the name so unless you have a link to full size it cant be done

wow talk about a show car...I don't think you could legally drive a mirror finish car down the street but it sure looks crazy sitting in a room like that...Although Im to lazy to even wash my car let alone the kinda of attention it would take to maintain that kinda finish. That Elise...

The Varietta is wierd because if I stare at it long enough the car isn't really there anymore. It's just a bunch of non-car related lines based on the lighting. Very odd.

I wanna cover my car with chalkboard paint so I can write different JDM tight sponsors on it every week, and I won't even have to worry about any stickers peeling!!!

The chrome is unique (and cool) but I think it's overkill. The carbon Elise is real nice...and if it broke down you could carry it home .

Actually the chrome is a paint system, and it can be done over any material...fiberglass and plastic/urethanes as well. I have a secret desire to do that to my S14. I have done alot of research on the process and it requires special hardware for the top of the line process, yet the slightly lower quality jobs can be done with standard equipment available at any paint/body shop, you can just get the paint and have them do it for you.

Here is a link to the company behind the process. In the product showcase galleries you will see other examples on various items and more car's as well as the colored chrome paints...pretty wild stuff. Also they do some other amazing paint processes they have created and patented. These guys are pretty bright(understatement).

Here you go, enjoy
