What so bling about it? ( ohh wait stock is best) currently I think like 5 or 6 of us on the forum are running chrome wheels, that is a nicely done kit, and the carbon dash matches pretty good, I spoke with the original seller months ago and recieved some more pics of the car, it looked like a very nice job, I would opt for some black rims with a polished lip and call it a day.

The ugly, doubtlessly heavy, gothic wheels that do not go with the lines of the car. The "spokes" are atrocious and obviously for "decoration", not function. They would only appeal to people who want their car to look like something the Munsters would drive.

As usual, most aftermarket wheels are inferior to OEM because owners don't want to spend the money required to match OEM specifications, let alone exceed them.

Putting "carbon fiber" looking trim over the OEM wood center panels is just so fey. It's the inner Martha Stewart trying to break out of someone's testoterone infested body.

That, my friend, is bling. Non-functional degradation of the original product.

Wtf are you talking about troll?

What is wrong with real carbon fiber?

You don't like it, so you trash anyone who does?

Putting over? I would remove the wood trim first, who wouldn't?

Honestly I think the carbon fiber looks really sharp with the black interior... probably the only color it would work with...

If you have that kind of money, you wont care about having to replac ethe rims every 50k... Who cares if you go throught a set of rims every 3 sets of tires, its a great excuse to upgrade!!!!!

I agree with you Brian. The front and rear of the body kit specially look puffy and too blatantly aftermarket, along with the wheels. I believe add-ons should enhance the look of the vehicle, not dominate it. But thats my philosophy.

BigBodyQ had some really sleek home-made side skirts he posted in another thread. They made the Q look low without being too obvious. And I'll bet he didnt spend $500 on them either.

Im okay with the carbon fiber. The original G50 was all black padded vinyl anyway... CF gives it a hint of life. Though with carbon fiber I think the original G50 black clock would be a better match too.

I can't believe you consider that guys custom sideskirts not ricy. Those things were terribly ricey.

The only non ricey sideskirts I've seen on a G50 are the IMPUL ones, which are on my car. They actually took the time to look at the lines of the car, and matched both sides up to them.

Stillen had unlimited spending account, they choose the IMPUL kit for a reason.

All the other ones are garbage, if you disagree, show me one that looks better

The WALD is nice, but the IMPUL is all around better

That is a nice looking Q. I would definately consider the carbon fiber since i have the black and grey interior. The kit looks ok also. I think the Q just needs a front bumper to five it that taller look.

Yea, it looks like he removed the stock wood trim, then put the carbon on.

You can't see the detail in the picture, but this is what my carbon looks like. It a nice, sporty look.

One thing that realy bothers me about that Q is why would he put that front and get rid of the fog lights? The Q looks better with the foglights. Is that real carbon fiber. It looks like the stick on type. Maybe that's why the pictures are blurry, to hide the fakness.

I concur. He should have got a front lip that accomodated fog lights

I can't believe he's let it that close to "empty" :O.

Wasn't this car on ebay or some where about 6/8 months ago. IIRC, the guy didn't even know the actual motor size and more such inaccuracies.

I swear... remove that sheet of chrome on the door bottoms and you have pure beauty. Nice find, Jason!

I have mixed feelings about that.....

IMHO it would look much more sleek/sharp with just the chrome wheels...

The pillar trim is ok, but the fender trim and the horizontal chrome strip just isn't working.
