having problems with the master clutch clylinder. no pressure at all. i put the new one on then bench bled it. then your suppose to bleed the line but there is no pressure and it seems that there are no more air bubbles. but still no pressure. i thought about taking it all off and bench bleed it so i can get full throw on the rod. then reinstalling it. has anyone had any problems with new master clutch cylinder? thanks for the help.

Could you be more specific about how your bleeding it and when the pedal comes back up if it does at all.

Also, when I do it, sometimes I will have to pull the pedal back a couple of times before it gets full pressure.

i have to push and pull it and it starts to get pressure at the bottom but then seems that there is no pressure. the pedal doesn't come back on it own at all. i have to pull it back. i've pumped it plenty of times and no change.thanks for the reply

I did it the same as you would brakes, just keep the reservoir full and have someone down there to turn the wrench.

Try filling the master cylinder reservoir up. Then jack the front of the car up. turn the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder and let it sit there for maybe an hour. This is what you do when you gravity bleed the system.Of course make sure that you close the bleeder valve before you start pumping the pedal later to keep air from getting back in.

ok i thought i had it workin. yesterdaythere was compresson (too much that it start not to dissengage. so i brought down the pedal a little to spec. this morning i had no compresson at all, had to pump it a ton of times intill I could actully put it into gear. i'm pretty sure it still might be air in the line. but was wondering if the 2.0 240sx engine has a different master cluth clylinder than the 2.4 240sx. i have the 2.4 engine ka24de. thanks for the help.

Did you try to gravity bleed it? Another alternative is to get the bleeder bottle from the parts house (about 7 bucks). I have one, but have not tried it yet. It is designed for you to being able to pump air into the bottle from the system without sucking air back in. Good Luck with whatever you decide.
