Hi guys :

I found my clutch slave cylinder was leaking so I replaced it with a new one today. It took me more than 2 hours to bleed the system, and still wasn't finished yet. It is hard for me to believe that is normal to take it that long.

The procedure I used is the procedures described in the maintenance manual.

Are there any other "trick" ways to do it quick?Did I do something wrong that I didn't realize?

Your responses are highly appreciated.

it will take long cuz u not only have to bleed the clutch master u gottableed the clutch damper box so heres the trick remove the box

you can do it the e-z way buy the ss linehttp://phase2motorsports.store....html

or do it the hard wayhttp://www.zeroyon.com/index/content/view/32/47

after one of these it only take a few mins.

I learned about that from the discussion in other posts. So what is the advantage of having that clutch damper box? What are the possible impacts after removing the box?

I totally agree.Get the F rid of that box and bleeding it becomes a couple of minute job..I had problems until I got rid of it..

If you really, really don't want to get rid of it because your car is in perfect untouched OEM shape then you can drive up some ramps so that your slave cylinder is higher then that stupid loop and try to bleed it.

If I were you I'd just throw the dampner out. I've been driving for over a year without it and haven't had problems yet.
