So after driving back from soccer the other day my clutch got stuck to the floor, and would not engage. Luckily it happened as i was about to park at home. Next morning i moved the car and managed to get the clutch to function so i can properly put it in gear. did that by literally pressing the clutch a few times till it actually engaged. Had a friend tell me that i needed to bleed my clutch cuz theres probably air in the system. I check my fluid level and it actually really low.

So a few questions?

do i actualy need to bleed the clutch, can i jus add fluid?
doe this mean i may have a leak in the lines?

Whats the best way to bleed the 96 300zx NA clutch? can i use that vacuum pum from autozone to do it?

Yes bleed the clutch, yes you have a leak, most likely in the slave cylinder, make sure you follow the bleeding procedure in the FSM.
