Going to rebuild my front calipers due to a leak on the passenger

Naturally going to have to bleed the breaks, but is there anything else that needs to be bled after reinstalling?

ABS pump needs to be bled, do it according to the steps in the service manual which is available online if you google "300zx service manual"

^^Not on a '96. The ABS pump bleed points were removed in '94, IIRC.

If you put a clamp on the flex line going to the caliper before you remove it, you will save yourself a lot of headaches. It will keep the system from draining and resulting air pockets. Then once you re-install the caliper, fill the master, and crack the caliper bleed screw (attach a hose to a bottle) and let it drip. This will remove most of the air. You should be able to rebleed the system quickly.
