IIRC, the sequence for bleeding Q brakes is RL ("R" = Rear "L" = Left), RR, FR, FL.SUB ZERO CAR FANATIC wrote:How do you go about bleeding it! theres 2 bleeder valves if im correct, onefor front one for rear and one for either R front or L front, cant remember, well that makes 3,oh well you get the idea. thanks
Same as for calipers.SUB ZERO CAR FANATIC wrote:How do you go about bleeding it! theres 2 bleeder valves if im correct, onefor front one for rear and one for either R front or L front, cant remember, well that makes 3,oh well you get the idea. thanks
I wonder if you could use it to replace your transmission fluid?Q45tech wrote:Brakes haven't really changed much in 20-30 years other than ABS.
The best machine we ever bought was a BG brake vacuum unit uses shop air to suck out old while automatically refilling master cylinder.............connect to bleed screw let it chug chug for a few minutes then close the valve. Then move to another bleed valve...rear to front finally the abs pump valves................done in 15 minutes requiring no one pushing on pedal.................doubles - triples productivity.
Plus no mess as all used fluid is stored in a 10 gallon tank and a new liter is poured into system for each exchange and gratuated marks tell you when to move to the next valve.
Here's a used one for $750 but you'll have to do 100 per year to get a fast payback: We broke even in the first 6 weeks considering our labor rate!http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/594350777.html
