Compression is a bit high, friend said thats likely caused by carbon buildup.

Theres no way to clean the cylinder walls short of a teardown huh? :(

seafoam...or mystery oil?

i heard a little water vapor goin into the throttle body while revving up the engine also works, But, may cause more harm than good... water is a great decarbonizer... may clean it all too well to the point where chunks may obstruct some passageways.

well, I heard that from amarok.org list members a while back.

I've heard of using crushed walnut shell blasting as a way to remove carbon buildup. Once the blasting is done just vaccuum out the cylinder. There are also chemical means to remove carbon buildup. Look for decarbonizer.
