Thank you. TPS is throttle position sensor. I think I can adjust that to spec.

Also, just for my reference what is tps? I don't have time to look it up.

Very nice:) Your AAC opens up more as you decelerate to a stop while mine closes down to 30 percent. I think an input like speed is not getting to the part of ecu that manages idle.

It will take me a while to understand all this. I noticed that your O2 reading was rich at idle after the drive. This just means your O2 sensor is nice and hot and reading accurately. A rich idle is normal. Anything below .2 is lean and above .2 is rich. Not sure why the program says you are lean at the end of the drive. When you are out of idle, the system is open and you should be alternating between rich and lean. My needle is bouncing from zero to about .8 in open loop.

Well that log was made the first time i drove the car after it was sitting for about 7 months with a blown radiator, lets just say it didn't run that well, its better now but i still need to do some things, the reading might be off for some reason, next long trip ill make a new one, and well see what its doing fr0m there.

Good stuff. I adjusted my throttle position sensor to read .46 volts at idle and now the ACC is 10 percent open at idle which is almost no air so no more high idle. The ACC is always changing now but it still does not increase when coming to a stop. However, I'm not stalling because my main air comes from the idle valve which doesnt seem to dip during deceleration. My ACC is at 15 percent when my idle is at lowest point which is a 50 percent increase over the 10 percent which is another thing that helps. Anyway, this consult is brilliant.

Well I made another log today and noticed at the end of the drive again it was running lean at idle, not sure why? Anyway I have to get up early again so I't will have to wait I Might send you the log tomorrow.

THe "lean" designation is an error. It says lean when it is rich and vice versa. You are nice and rich at the end of your drive ie .87 volts. You start your drive with 0 volts and the program is mistakenly saying you are rich. The consultz program does the same thing.

The important thing is that o2 reading bounces from under .2 to over .8 when you are over 2000 rpm. a gauge display is best to observe this.

The air injection valve was necessary for our cars because we run rich at idle. The aiv inject air just in front of the catalytic converter to compensate for this. The o2 sensor is upstream of aiv so never sees the additional air.If you dont have an idle emissions test in your state this is all irrelevant.

ecutalk.com lists some pocket pc's that work with consult. its better than a laptop at least. Pocket pc's seem to go for 20 bucks on ebay. ecutalk calculates fuel economy second by second by measuring fuel coming out of injector ie. 370 cc/minute times pulse duration(milliseconds) divided by thousand

Where are you guys using your consult cables from? Mine took a dump recently.

ECUTalk has them for ~$70 USD, but that does not include shipping.

shipping is free and i didnt pay tax in canada. if i recall, he said it was a gift for customs. he had these on ebay and they were going for double.

if you dont need the usb type, the serial ones go for about 35 on ebay.ecu is probably still the cheapest. the australian dollar seems to have shot up.

the chinese serial ones can go as low as $35. they are more professionally made. much fewer options if you need the usb one. there are a couple real losers selling junk ones on ebay. ecutalk ran out last time. If you can get an old cheap laptop then you can use the serial cable. It is pretty hard to find these cables used but it might not hurt to ask in the classified.
