Would these speakers fit in the front speaker brackets of a 300ZX? They say oversized 6.5inch. I dont know if thats the mounting depth or the size or so. Some help would be nice as Im looking to buy a component set of speakers.

Oversized 6.5 speakers are usually made for cars that came equipped with 6.75 speakers from the factory. Sometimes they will work in a car that has 6.5 hole openings, but not always. Find the mounting diameter of the speakers (Google, crutchfield, etc.), and then measure the hole opening in your ZX. If the opening is bigger then they should work. Just make sure to check mounting depth clearance as well.

You need 160mm classic frame 6.5" speakers for the factory brackets. I believe the Blau version is the 650. There are only a few models out there that still use this frame. You can identify these as they usually have no tabs and have the triangular 3 screw pattern.

BTW, glad to hear someone still uses factory brackets and not those fake Ebay / home-made "brackets".
