Something different this time than the last. It will keep turning and turning and it just doesn't start. It started doing this yesterday. I got a ride to work and 10 hours later tried to start the car again and it started first try, ran fine too. I pulled it in my driveway (it was in the yard) and turned it off after it warmed up so i could make sure it would start again. Back to turning over endlessly and not starting.

Left it overnight and went to go try diag this morning (i f***ing suck at diag) and it started first try again. So again i let it warm up, i looked at my belts while it was running and they looked fine. Turned it back off and tried again, it kind of started but then shut right back off. And then it went back to turning over and over. I know there is fuel in the tank but it almost seems like it isn't getting gas or something..i know it has air and spark. I pulled the gas hose off the top of the fuel filter and held it over a towel and it was slowly spurtin gas...real slow though and with no pressure....

While the engine was running i noticed a really loud clicking noise seperate from the timing chain. It sounded like it was coming right from the fuel injectors themselves. Is it likely that the fuel injectors need replaced or is it more probable that the fuel pump has gone bad? Or neither?I would really appreciate any help i keep bummin rides to work and i haven't been able to skate.

Give her a good ole tune up (cap, rotor, pluhs wire) and get a timing light on her. Sounds like dist timing is off.

Now might also be a good time to replace fuel filter, PCV, and gave her a seafoam job too.

Check your battery voltage too. Also maybe the TPS (just a guess). You could be right about the fuel pump though. Maybe MAF???

I had a similar issue when I first bought my 240sx.

Turned out to be in the ignition. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a faulty coil.

It may be over heating, and once it cools down it's good to go again.

Get a replacement coil online. I paid $85 for new distributor, coil and ignitor shipped for my DOHC KA. You can probably get it for cheaper.
