Yo whatsup guys. I finally got a Z in January. My old car got totaled and my insurance skimped on my check. So I needed something cheap and good.. So I got a Z. The wheels on the car were bent. So I needed to get some rims.
I wanted to work on looks and sound first. After that there's nothing to do but drop a TT in it right.

There is just somthing wierd about 2+2s. From one angle they look so awesome better than a 2+0 from that angle. Then when you look at them from another angle they look like all wrong. They look too long or something its hard to explain. Then 2+0s look better from that specific angle. They look just weird from a certain angle I don't know how to explain it. So Im fixing that.

Image

So 1st I started looking on craigslist for some 350Z anniversary wheels, whilist looking for 350z wheels somone was selling some z33 lmgt4s so I got those. I drove back from maryland with the wheels in my back seat. 2+2 for the win.

Image
Problem now is my tires are way too big.
Image

So After talking to you guys, I'm getting 255/35/18s on the rear, and 225/40/18s on the front. Im going to try to do that this week. This tire size is very damn close to the stock circumstance of the OEM wheels that came on the Z32. Turns out this is the same tire size on BMW 3 series strange enough I can find full sets of tires with this same size that came off of BMWs. But they are all runflats and bald.
Image
So I was digging around on BIDJDM a website by RHD Japan. And found some JDM mud guards. They arrived today and it took me all afternoon to get the double side tape off. PS if you want some of these try contacting RHD JAPAN and see if they can find some. Thats what I did. They found the auction for me and sent me a link. They were like 142 Dollars no rips or tears.
.Image

I just wanted to use the rears, Once I held them up to the car I realized something was missing. So I ordered some Kaminari side skirts. Im trying to keep the zs lines with my body mods. Those Kaminari sides are the only side skirts that flow with the natral curves of the Z.

Image

Now that Ive decided to add thos JDM mud flaps to the rear and kaminari sides, I have to do something to the front bumper I guess. Just have to. For that Im going with the Stillen GTZ Front LIP. Image Seems to keep the lines of the Z but makes it better. Since Im going be be swapping to TT this is necessary. :bigthumb:

I see all these crazy body kits on Zs and they are all ruined Zs to me. My Z wont be one of those.

Now that I got my body kit sorted, I need to lower it. Guess im waiting till the last minute to get on the powertrixx group buy. I will updat photos as I work on the car. I plan on going for around 450 WHP.

I was browsing the Z32 marketplace on facebook and someone posted this on ebay. Looks like the Z Thirtytwo bezel but it was only $150 So I bought it. I haven't received it in the mail yet.

Don't forget to cut out behind the cuts on the GTZ lip. There was a guy running around Lemoore with the GTZ lip over a stock N/A bumper. It was VERY obvious. I don't expect you to have that issue, as you're actually going to need the airflow. Just thought I'd share that anecdote.

Ya I was wondering I I can cut holes, sounds like this is a cheap and awesome way to convert my front fascia for a TT swap. I dont have to buy a TT cover then. And I end up with something that looks cooler and costs hundreds less.

I was going to get that Twinz rear bumper cuz the 2+2 needs somthing like that to break up the long lines in the back but that crap was like a 1000 dollars. Then when I saw those mud flaps for like 140 bucks I figured I can achieve the same look that way it was a steal.

Would you be willing to sell your front mudflaps? I've been looking forever and can never seem to find them. Also, is RHD Japan someone's screen name or is it a website? Thanks!

I'll think about it with as rare as they are I don't have interest in selling them. If I change my mind you will get 1st dibbs. bidjdm.com is owned by rhdjapan its a auction brokerage system thats a works as kinda a data aggregator in tandem with the Japanese yahoo auction service. Way it works is bidjdm interfaces with the japan yahoo auction service and translates it into English and does currency exchanges. Then rhdjapan does all of the legwork in paying the seller and checking the merchandise then shipping it to you they are the middle man.

Ordered new tires today, should be here early next week. Also I found my 2000 grit sand paper and started wet sanding the mudflaps. I plan on painting them and putting them on the car this week. Here is a couple pics of the stereo that came out of my acura CL this is what I needed the double din bezel for. If I didn't already have a stereo I would of just got a single din

It needs cleaned up a bit. And take out of the acura bezel.

preping for paint. 1st coat of flexable primer and 1st sand. There was a little dry rot. So I used a adhesive promoter, and some flexable primer. This stuff is no joke its professional sh*t don't try this without proper ventilation. :gapteeth: Im going to folow up with a flexible paint that black vynal and fabric paint. then multiple coats of clear coat. that way these dont crack when i put them on the car. once they are bolted and taped to the car they are not going to move. I might change my mind about that black paint cuz i think its not going to spray evenly.

Image

this cap is really black but the flash made it grey cuz i took it at night. rear wiper deleted. thats dirt on my car.

That adhesion promotor is good stuff though i prefer bulldog adhesion promotor to the dupli-color. You could buy can's of paint in your specific color from automotive touchup and it's all urethane based just an fyi if your interested.

Thanks man, the shop that I bought that flexable primer from said they can custom mix paint for me and put it in a can for 21 dollars locally. Problem I had was After I cleaned the rubber best I could it was pitted, and very rough in some places. There was also a visible seem or 2 that was not level with the rest. "like ridges" I attempted to wet sand it with 2000 grit paper to no avail. I originally tried to just paint them with a flexible paint then realized they were to pitted. So Im having to prime and sand them down to get them nice and smooth for paint otherwise its going to look bad.

My friend on FB is selling his Z, so I offered to buy the sub and speaker brackets. Going to pick them up friday. His trunk is 2+2 also so perfect fit and is going to save me the trouble. I think without too much trouble I can modify the corners of the box to fit to the contours of the trunk perfectly, then re-carpet. :gapteeth:

Bezel came in mail today looks factory.
