Blacktop SR20 Hesitation

Hi guys

1995 Blacktop SR20, no engine mods yet. Started noticing a hard hesitation around 2k+ when giving it aprox half throttle.You can hear building boost but revs don't really go anywhere and it just feels sucked back.

Could it be as simple as a dirty MAF sensor? If so whats safe way to clean it? Q-Tip and some rubbing alcohol?

Had a similar feeling when i had my skyline and it would go into safe mode and studder at 2500+ rpms, but my 180 isnt studdering. And the hesitation doesnt really kick in until about 10 mins of driving.

Im actually going through the same problem right now and I've pinpointed. It down to Knock sensor position, mafs or catalytic converter starting to melt/clog. When you clean the maf I wouldn't use anything but crc maf cleaner.
