Hey all,

My goal is 300-350 rwhp on a blacktop SR20. Can someone with the hands on experience recommend which parts to go with and how to achieve this goal? I have another car to drive so if the 240 has to be down for a while thats ok.

A friend of mine had a blacktop SR20 in his 91 fastback that dynoed 320 whp but i dont remember his exact setup. I know that he had an aftermarket turbo, HKS intercooler, highflow cat, and i think he was boosting 12psi. Any ideas ppl? Thanks!

SS

320 WHP at 12 PSI

Your going to want to do.

-Exhaust-Intake-300zx MAFS swap-Intercooler-Some type of Turbo Manifold-Hot pipe-Down pipe-Turbo elbow-Bigger turbo-Pully set-Rad and fans-Fuel pump (walbro 255 lph)-550 or 650cc injectors and a fuel rail-Some type of fuel computer-boost controler-HKS 264 step 2 cams or what ever ones you want-Valves and valve springs -Head gasket-Your going to want a clutch maybe a stage 2 or 3-And deffinatly a LSD of some sort -And 300zx Brake upgrade, that is if you dont want to kill yourself not being able to stop and all.And guages so you can watch your motor carfully

This is all i can think of at the moment

I see. Looks like i will be spending a grip of cash! I might have to just start the motor swap and add the parts as i go. Anyone know what a fastback with sr20 blacktop swap runs in the 1/4 "stock?"

Mid 14s are quick you'd beat most cars on the road

You can be like me. This is what i've got:

GT2540R$1000Tial 38mm wastegate$200740cc injectors$500Z32 Maf$180Tuned ECU$500

That's it! I'm putting down at least 300-310whp@15psi.

You can spin it up to 18 on pump gas usually, which should net around 330-340whp.

I have the other Basic mods too... Clutch, intercooler, Fuel pump, etc. but those are pretty standard.

I have more of a drag setup, I don't have a lot of the support stuff that you'd need if you were to road race.

Some of the new cars out there are damn fast but yeah id be beating a lot of mr2's, tegs, etc.. its going to be totally different power than im used to (TORQUE!!) The integra im driving right now runs low 13's (13.24) which just dusts most cars(when i get traction), itll feel like more of a challenge. i like challenges :-D

FMIC, fuel pump, boost controller @ 15 psi and a stock SR is going to do 13.3 easily in the 1/4 mile. 245 rwhp.
