BLACKOUT THE TAILS ON THE J

so my wife blacked out the taillights on the J for me...she did a really good job...ill post pics soon but if anyones got an extra set of tail lights with the center peice let me know...

patiently waiting to see.sounds nice.At one time i had made a full fiberglass cover for the whole tailight section,side to side.i was in the process of sanding it to paint and i had i over someones house and they disapeared on me and i never finish it.it had 3 oval openings on each side for l.e.d.'s...so close,lol.d

pulled the lights off and used half a can of vht niteshades i got at oreillys for $10...

One thing may consider is making the key hole invisible.Kinda.I used flat refector cut in cirlcles.A couple thick or so.i forget.Looks clean but have to rely on hood popper.can be easily got to if popper breaks too.one time i thought my popper broke and cut thru to open only to find out the lock switch had been hit somehow.lol.woop's.Or if rippers dont see it they pry baby,pry,lol.You can see mine on my trunk picture in other thread.I think,rechecking now,lol.

right on yodda!I used plastic cleaner and hand buffed off my letters. You know that ugly pinch weld you see looking at car standing back were you place the jack to lift..that lip front to back.I thought fugly so i used shiney black hard stripping to cover it.Kinda makes it invisable.looks good.i put on in 97 and is still there too.I always hate how they make a nice car then expose its ugly undercarage.Yuk

I used VHT night shades as well about 3 years ago. Then added 3 clear coats and they have not faded at all.

Can someone with blacked out taillights and brake lights and turn signals be held responsible if it causes an accident because another driver had trouble seeing the lights?
