I recently had a ford f150 back into my 350z but the only damage was a little chip in the paint and the tail light cover cracked, so I'm thinking this would be the best time to replace them with blacked out covers! are any of you guys selling some, or do you have a good recommendation for buying them???

What exactly did you have in mind? Mine have a film on them. I would highly suggest not geting them painted! I would def let a professional do it, because it is very tedious. I will post a pic below, and some more pics are located in the thread "to tint or not to tint"...by the way what color is your Z?

My z is black, the thing is i don't want to put a film on the lights i have now... i need to replace them because the one is cracked so is should i get a new tail light and then film it? or should I buy two pre filmed/painted tail lights? whats you suggestion?

I would def not buy pre-painted tail lights...since the paint is permanent and the film is not! I would suggest buying new lamps and then having the film installed on it.

everyone has their own suggestions on this and none are really wrong... but i personally prefer painting because its cheaper... it is tedious and you should practice first tho

the paint isn't permanent... it can be removed carefully with the right chemicals

now which is best depends on what look you are going for.... like i said above i prefer painting but this compliments the fact that i went with a matte clear coat... in order to get a proper gloss coat it take a lot of time and effort.... the film will give you a flawless gloss (assuming it doesn't bubble or something)... you can do it right by yourself but it takes more effort... but as i said... painting is cheaper too

here are some pics of mine for reference... i have all the lights done
