Blacked out taill lights

I found these blacked out tail lights on ebay and was wondering if anybody knows where they got them or are they a custom job.

You can just use regular tint to darken them, or they sell taillight tint on ebay they come in few colors, smoke, red, yellow they are about 15 bucks on ebay, also I know some hobby stores sell transulcent paint so you might try that.

i actually used this nite shades i sell here at my store. heres an ebay link for the same stuff.....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 8033487960. shipping kills cause its a chemical. it was incredibly easy. light coats out in the sun to watch for runs and any spots. hardest part was pulling your taillights. looks black, but when the lights are on, the shine right through. and they also stay reflective, so when johnnny law pulls up from behind, it reflects. more pics.....

yea my buddy did the nite shades on his GTI and they look sick as hell... btw that 240 looks awesome it's one of the few that I've seen that I like without a spoiler
