Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a lot of guys do it themselves. I think there was a kit to do it at Autozone.

Skywalker is correct, a lot of people have done it themselves but if you are not the type to try it yourself you can take it to any Auto Body shop. They will do it.

I called to get an estimate and they said $50 a taillight so $100 all together. They also said they will need the car for a day for prep and drying purposes.

you could just bring the tails to them instead of the whole car.

i am considering the sale of my smoked taillights, if anyone is interested... if the price is right, however... sure it might be a little pricey, but the upside to buying these from me is that you will have a smoked set and also a stock set... $200 plus shipping, any takers?

Blacking out headlights isn't smart.

Not dramatically, but it's still enough. I don't think it is the greatest idea in the world, imo.

But if you were really interested in doing it, doing it yourself would be the best way... Cheapest too. Goodluck with whatever you decide to do.
