I think they mean they blacked out the silver trim around the grille.

I think the black grill looks great and I would like to do that on my white Versa. How about one of you guys put a tutorial with all the steps and the suggested paint, etc. That would be quite helpful !

Thanks !

For those of you who aren't on CarDomain, I'll make this a simple cut and paste...

CodeRed and Clipsed can see fit to augment...

Posted by CodeRedVersa04/04/2007, 07:17amwell, first i got a very fine sand paper and went over the whole grille. i then washed it with a little dawn and water making sure no residue was left let it dry. wiped it down with my microfiber towel then i primed it with a sandable primer (3 coats allowing 30 min bewteen each coat). i then let that dry for an hour. next i put krylon plasitc paint on it three coats again allowing about 30 min between each coat. next i put a clear coat on to give it that gloss again three coats allowing 1 hour in between each coat. and thats it let it cure for 24 hours and pop it back in.

Additional: and Shreqboi too, didn't realize I was leaving someone out ;oD
