Looking for tips on successful Blackberry pairings/installations, or horror stories to avoid. I just bought new M35x journey/tech. I have a Blackberry 7250 thru Verizon in Indianapolis. Concerned that it is not listed as approved phone, but a Cingular similar version is. I wanted to stay with Verizon for supposed better coverage, but won't matter if phone doesn't work well with the car. Thoughts/Help???

I have paired a Blackberry 8700 flawlessly. Never tried a 7250 however. My previous BB didn't have BT (Verizon 7750).

it sounds like you switched from verizon to cingular? for phone use also? do you now use the 8700 for both phone and data and is coverage and sound quality as good?

I have a 7250 that I have paired with my M35x. There are 2 issues: 1) You cannot import your contact list like you can with some other units, and 2) I have trouble answering my phone. When I am trying to answer an inbound call, I press the speak button, but the unit will ring 2 more times. Sometimes the person on the other end can hear me, but it takes a few seconds to connect to the speakers. Also, everyone complains about the sound quality, but I think that is a common issue.
