Black Yellow Red jacks in backseat behind center console

Sorry for so many questions, but I am trying to figure out if I should buy this M45 my daughter loves. I only saw the car for 30 mins. And now have questions about things I didn't think to ask at the time.

Do you have any idea what the three jacks are for?

These are RCA jacks for the Aux input. Red and White are Right and Left audio, while Yellow is Video (old analog 480i standard). Audio sent to them will always play in aux mode. Video sent to them will play on the front screen when in aux mode if the car is stopped with the parking brake engaged. Video would also always play in the screen in the ceiling if so equipped. Said screen in ceiling could be set to aux mode when main stereo system was not, then video would play in the back and/or IR headphones could be used for the audio while the main stereo system was not.

I have a 06 sport no aux I feel like in going backwards to cd's ..lol Bluetooth does not play no music through my phone and the dvd player says stop before video will play ,,I hear the audio but no picture ..I do not have the rear monitor should it play on the front screen ??

DVD works the same as aux, so...

Video sent to them will play on the front screen when in aux mode if the car is stopped with the parking brake engaged.

That having been said, I don't remember an option to get the DVD player without getting the aux ports, so you might look into that a little deeper, maybe your car has been modded, and in that case, the question is was the DVD player added manually or the aux removed/moved.

not modded at all.. all factory maybe I don't know how to get to aux as crazy as that sounds but I've been trying DVD is Infinity in the console.

Aux would be on the back of the console, below the rear vents. There is a button to push and it pops out along with a 12V power outlet. It is possible I remember wrong and you don't have it, but that's where to look.

ok great I did get the DVD to work the emergency brake has to be on so great advice I appreciate this I will go look for the aux

Its the video L R , do have to get an adapter to converts the L R to 1 plug for my phone/IPod??

Yes, you need an adapter. Presumably the phone/iPod uses 3.5mm stereo, so you need to adapt from male 3.5mm stereo to male stereo (/dual/L+R) RCA. You can get a cable to do this or an adapter to change one end of an existing cable.
