okay i have a 1991 240sx hatch. and i was looking at japanmotorimport.com at a blacktop SR and i was wondering even though they came in the 92-97 180sx will it still fit perfectly into my 1991 cause it is the same body style, right? is there any modifacation i may run into. i have swaped in a redtop into a friend of mines (sorry still have KA) and i pretty much know what i need and need to do to swap in the motor.

so i guess i should just ask is it just like swaping in the redtop?

you can take any series SR, and it will bolt right into your chassis. So to answer your question the short way: you will have no fitment issues with your car and a blacktop SR.

the tps that came with the engine was good for about 300 miles, then i ordered a new one thinking i just needed an s13 one cuz thats what the engine is, but it wouldnt fit at all, soafter a whole lot of waiting nad talking with the guys at phase2...(they have excellent customer service, i buy almost everything from them) they sent me an s14 one and it went right in and the cars been running great ever since.. guess nissan changed it on the 97 ??? idk but it works

hopes this helps

and if any needs an s13 tps i think i have 2... atleast 1 email me
