Black spot on lower front and passenger side doors

I notice these black spots right behind the splash guard. You can only see it when you are up close to it. It turns brownish when i tried rubbing it out with soap and water. What is it from? The stuff they put on the street when they make pot hole repair? Or cheap paint?

Possibly road tar. I would buy a clay bar detailing kit (Mothers and Meguiars sells them) and follow the instructions. If it's tar, the clay bar will take it off.

Last year when i clay bar my rogue, some of those spots didn't come off. Will try again this year.

Speaking of clay bar, i'm running low on the liquid but sitll have one unopen clay bar. Can i just buy the liquid instead of the whole set?

You can just pick up a bottle of quick detailer - any brand will do. It is the same thing as the lube that is included in the clay kits.
