Black Spark Plugs

This Spark Plugs have only 1400 miles on them,they are in order 1234,As u can see the 1 spark plug look way diffrent then the rest,so I can put some new spark plugs,and drove around for about a couple of hours,came back and check them and the first one was already showing black around the tip,and the rest just a little,so I'm I runing rich or normal,I seen some on this forum,but they look the same all the way,and the one that show the most is the first one,they are all gap to .039 by FSM.Don't want to be changing plugs every 1400miles or so.

I dunno dude, I wouldn't really think twice about seeing these. Unless you are having some sort of problem, what makes you think they are abnormally colored?

Yeah, they look alright to me. As long as they don't have a lot of carbon build up on the ceramic and electrode.

dude that isn't nothing. The electrodes are nice and tan. your fine.

Black isn't till you pull the plug and the ENTIRE end is covered in a heavy coat of black soot.
