I am looking into the Black Racing - Pro-N1 wheels and was wondering if anyone knows of the offset of these? Ive searched the internet and I cant find much information on them. Also, what is everyone's opinion on them and does anyone have any pics of 240's with them or with very similar wheels? thanks, here is links to pictures of them in silver and black, I have a 90 black hatch and can't decide between the 2 colors. Also, do I just pick wheels spacers up at a wheel dealer around me? I think I'm gonna need spacers and don't know where to get them.

Ive been looking at those wheels also, except im going with bronze. They are available on a multitude of offsets, so you should'nt need to get spacers.

damnit... i knew i forgot something. im gettin 17's. thanks for the page you linked me too. thats kinda cool you can choose your offset. also, on wheelmax.com... i know the packages tell you what size... but do you get to pick what tire you want from the selection they have or does it come with a certain brand automatically?

Just a little FYI...my girlfriend got those wheels in black for her Integra. Overall, I was impressed with the quality and weight considering the price. I could do without the yellow lettering on the black though...but it really doesn't look bad. Also, if you are planning on getting colored lugs, her wheels came with anodized red valve stems, so anodized red lugs would match perfectly. She didn't know about the red when she ordered them, and she bought blue lugs...it looks kinda goofy like that!:oface

Ich, red valve stems just dont seem that appealing to me. Easy enough to change though. My biggest thing about these wheels is they are cheap, relatively lightweight (21 lbs for 9" wide if i recall correctly), come in the right offset, and pretty cool looking. My first choice would be volk's but im a cheap bastard and refuse to pay that much for wheels. So im gonna go with the pro-n1.

So for example, if he wanted to get 17X8, he would have to get the offset of +20 right? After i used the offset calculator this is what i got:

Your new wheel will have the following chracteristics:

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 1mm MOREThe outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 39mm

Also, what does it mean by the outside edge of the wheel will extend an extra 39mm? Does that mean you would need fender flares. Sorry, i'm just trying to get an understanding.

lol, no you dont need 20+ offset, you must have pluged something in wrong.

I used it and i got 8 inch wide with 35+ offset will fit just fine and dandy.

although you would have a monster lip with 20+ offset :ylsuper

won't his tires rub?

And if he had full coilovers, would 35mm offset still work?

get a ruler and see how long 20 mm is, also what numbers are you using as a base? I used my old aftermarket rims as a base and they are alot closer than the stock ones...

Thanks for all your opinions. I dont really like the lettering either. And do I have to have a red valve stem? The reason I would get black is so I could have a black stealth look to my car (black car, dark tint, black wheels), and the lettering and valve stem would kinda ruin that in my opinion.

No you dont have to get red valve stems. If you buy tires from the same place you buy wheels, they usually mount the tire on the wheel which requires a valve stem. Just tell them you dont want a red valve stem. If they still give you one, take it to any tire shop and they can change the stem for you.

The stem is nice aluminum, very solid...if the red bothers you, of course you can use a regular valve stem. The lettering on the other hand, won't be so easy to get rid of.

What really sucks is that wheelmax.com has the black racing rims in every bolt pattern... but mine. Im gonna call them tomorow and see if there is any way this can be worked out. A couple other wheels I have in mind are Racing Hart Evolution CP8 and Konig Traffik. Anyone have any opinions on these?

The pro-n1's come in the bolt pattern you need (114.3 x 4, i assume), you'll just have to call and ask for them and they will probably have to special order them. If they give you any grief, go to JSPEC.COM, they have what you need.

signal180sx, your a signal soldier, eh? That means you've been through my neck of the woods. I live just outside of, and work on Ft. Gordon. Small world.....

anyone know if the pro-n1's(4 lug) will work with FLT-A2's?

i was told by russ they would not fit, 17x7.5 with a 45 mm offset it too close

yet dave coleman puts 17x8 in the front with a 48 mm offset, and FLT-A2's

anyone have a clue who's right and who' wrong

You are wrong.:)

First off, the project Silvia has 17x7.5" wheels. They have a 43mm offset. Second, they used a 5mm spacer, effectively changing the offset to 38mm.
