I most likely will order one for the back of my car to replace the burger. What color exactly is black pearl??? it looks like gunmetal in the picture which is what I want to match my theme....or is it closer to a black chrome??? thanks.

I bought some nite shade tint spray when I wanted to do my tails on my own. Decided to spray the hamburger logo with 3 coats. Here's how it came out;

I can post pics of how it looks on the car if anyone wants

How did you get the letterings for "NISSAN" to stand out. It looks like you outlined the letters before you painted them. Great work btw. Looks real clean

I just got an 06 SE-R thats silver with the darker gunmetal rims. I am thinking about repainting both emblems seeing as chrome doesnt match anything on my car. I am considering gunmetal for the back emblem and just repainting the front grill and front emblem flat black. how easy is it to take off these emblems?

How do you take the emblems off and put them back on? I assume heatgun or something to take them off. The blacks looks awesome. I am about to do all black on my ser

Just take some fishing line or floss and "saw" off the emblems. You're just trying to seperate the 3m tape from the object. Once you get whatever emblem you want off the rest of the glue/tape will be left on the car. I have used goo gone or adhesive remover and just dabbed it on the tape witha raga nd then peeled it off with my thumb. Give it a nice wax afterwards and you will never know it was on there. To put it back on just buy some 3m tape from the auto store clean the surface and put it back on.
