Black out or deface Emblems?

I am having troubles on deciding wether i should just deface and rip off all my emblems and leave it looking clean on the back. Or take them off take my time paint them and put them on back in the same spots just black (nissan logo, black logo, chrome/silver nissan letters). It really darkens up the back end and have to say looks pretty good. I saw a 04 altima with blacked out emblems on cardomain, looked really good.Some preferences would be great, thanks
