Black LED Tails Installed on Blue

Just got my Black LED tail installed today....I'm very pleased with the way they look on the blue coupe. Thanks to Mattv609, who got there first with his painted black tails!

I know, right?! The only thing good I can say about that stuff is that it sets of the Nissan burger in the back.....lol....as if that's a good thing! Oh well

i agree man thats y i got rid of mine ide tint em like the gtr way so u still see the led brakes really well

wow your coupe looks so clean love the black/blue theme..but for the tail lights idk if i really dig them on blue cause the red bar on the side throws it off..i think you should tint them a little but if you dont it still looks great!

*smile* yep....I have to thank the great members of this forum.....everyone has great ideas, and they are willing to share....its awesome! I wish I lived on the east coat or down in So Cal, where the majority of members seem to be.....there are so many FANTASTIC looking coupes on here and I would love to meet some of the owners....I have always strived to NOT be one of the crowd, hence the swiftness of the mods! Thanks to everyone who comments, good or bad, its all good!

As to the red stripe on the side of the tail....yeah, it does throw the color scheme off but that little strip is better than the all red taillight, which was REALLY throwing my color scheme off!..........going for black n blue mostly, really thinking I'm gonna have to go for the c-mod grille in all black.....

I understand, its still winter for alot of people. After getting NAILED last year with snow, we had the mildest winter in the Northwest this year, its been perfect, since this was the first winter with my A/C, I was so happy. I don't ever remember being able to take my winter tires off before the middle of March.....I have had my rims on for about a month....unheard of!!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to let go of my stocks, but after having these on for a few days, I'm ready to part with it! If you are still interested, I'd let it go for a NICO member for $50 plus the shipping

I gotta tell you guys, these lights are awesome. The turn signal is the white strip and not the typical yellow turn signal you see on most cars......in fact, I don't think I've ever seen a turn signal that wasn't red or yellow, so I'm really diggin the change, not too mention its bright as hell, along with the brake lights.......no problem backing down my dark driveway now.....Some people have an issue with the sealant around the edges, but I kinda dig it, cause the light comes through a little bit and look kinda cool. I think blue is one of the hardest colors to work with when it comes to certain mods......I couldn't deal with all that red and even though I really liked my GTR overlays, they were starting to lift because the installer didn't take the light out to put them on.......

All in all, I'm very satisfied with look, and I thank you all for your comments....Azure Blue coupe owners....go for black ftw

I stand corrected, thanks bro. Silver mist is a name that stuck in my head for some reason. Anyway, I was refearing to the Black LED tails on a radiant silver A/C. Im pretty sure there aren't many folk with black and blue wheels on a radiand silver coupe.. but thanks for the correction, now I know

Also, is the turn signal LED? I thought I read on eBay that only the brake/running light was LED? Does it just come with regular bulbs for the turn signal?

Yes, I love them. As you know, the LED tail light bulb search went nowhere fast for me, and the taillight switch was an easy fix. I got them from Sabersport, I ordered them Sat nite and had them Thursday afternoon.....very fast shipping!

Yes, they're holding up fine, no problems. I did find a thread from someone awhile back that said they ordered some LED Tails from Sabersport and they ended up burning out/melting the housing, something like that. That's the only bad story I have ever seen about them.

DEFINITELY! Remember when I told you (I think it was you!) about backing down my driveway in the early morning or at night and it was a pain because it was hard to see? Not anymore! I tap my brakes when backing up and it is as bright as can be! The light pattern is cool and yes, they are bright as hell.

As for the turn signal, I tried to take a pic of the turn signal lit up....see below......it is very bright as well, I really like it because white-light turn signals are not seen too often...

I highly recommend them....they look great, I believe they come in black, smoke and chrome/silver maybe.........a change from overlays, sprays and tints

I am not sure if it is legal in your state but usually white turn signal are illegal to have because it is much harder to see during the day time. Should check up on that so you don't go getting a fix it ticket.

Not an issue in Washington. You can have red and white lights in the back and white and amber/yellow lights in the front. I'm not aware of the back turn signal needing to be red. Some high-end cars have a white turn signal, I've seen a couple, but not very often. The signal is bright as hell anyway, so I don't think there's an issue of it not being seen during the day, even in the sun. In any case, I've had cops behind me just because of the way the car looks, used the signal and not had any problems.
