black led tail lights with yellow laminex tint (PICS)

what do you guys think. I was considering trying this, buying the eby black led tails and having yellow laminex tint put over them. in theory they should still be legal I would think because they should still shine red. Just thinking of some ideas to really alter the cars appearance from everyday cars on the road. I have a magazine article of a black 350z with yellow laminex tinted headlights with gold wheels and it looks sick. So what u guys think?

1) would is be legal?
2) How would it look? too ricey?

very good points you have. I would also have my rims powdercoated gold, and possibly my headlight tinted yellow as well..my fogs are already tinted yellow. I also considered yellow window tint but definately feel that it is to ricey and would hate to waste the money on that. I just want to change something, I have been also back and forth with people at mitsubushi about a exo X MR but they are impossible to deal with.
My idea was to eliminate any colors on the car except black and gold. If i get a chance tomorrow I will upload the car magazine photos of the black 350z with the yellow film lights. I also have photos of a dark green evo with matching dark green headlight tints. Just seems like a cool idea. Everyones cars either have red or clear tails, Just thought it would be different to see someone driving with yellow tails.

I just don't want to be pulled over all the time.

Definitely illegal. Red + yellow = orange. It will be hit or miss if a LEO wants to pull you over. Most likely they will because your whole huge taillight is yellow instead of red and they will be thinking "oh look, ricer"... and then by that point they will give you the ticket regardless of if you show them that the brake lights shine red just because you gave them the trouble of pulling you over.

Heels! i have those LED tails in JDM black (black housing), the only bad thing is that the adhesive used on the outsides is gray/whiteish . but i put overlays on them and they look sick. i recommend them
and if you pull the yellow and black theme, i would realllllllyyyyyyyyyyyy like to see it, looks dope!

also forgot to mention..
the 350z looks like it is matte black (from what i can see), so it makes the yellow work really well.

I just ordered the black housing ones off ebay yesterday... I was gonna get the chrome ones with the smoke but i didnt think it would be smoked enough and the chrome would look funny...

I purchased the 'chrome ones' w black housing...do not care for the white housing on the JDM blacks - horrible design

I was very happy w/ this choice....chrome is very subtle tho I wish they were a tad more "smoked"

i took mine off recently, bcus i decided to re-apply them, but the second time was worse because they peeled off for some reason. im going to a tint shop to get them proffesionally installed, and ill take a couple of pics and post them up. you wont be disappointed!
