Now what would the conservatives who always belly-ached about "the liberal media" think about that?

People in this country should be disgusted by all media. Short of PBS I don't think any of them are even close to unbiased. At least though CNN is unbiased in both directions depending on the time of day. [/frustration]

I lump the media in with all of Hollywood.

Celebrities, entertainers, musicians, talking heads, comedians, actors, painters, performance artists, sports figures, producers, playwrights, mimes, clowns, magicians, tarot card readers....

Enjoy their CRAFT for what it is.

But DO NOT expect them to help you comprehend the world and how you should navigate its waters.

They need to STFU and do what they do best.

Agreed. I turned on CNN yesterday, for the first time in years. I watched a clip for about 45 seconds where they showed McCain thinking about how to respond to a question (note, they did not show the question), with the header "Awkward pause" on the screen. When he did respond, he said something like "I don't know enough about it to give you an informed answer." It cuts back to the "reporter" and he says "Maybe we should call this McCain's latest awkward moment, sponsored by Viagra." What a ****ing cheap shot. I don't care who it was, that was uncalled for. I'm never, ever watching CNN again now.

We think, at least we have one. Why is it that since it came out Fox is conservative based" Fox News is conservative" became the defense every time someone complains about the media being liberal? The ratio is what, 498 million to 3? Furthermore, Fox news is a big a piece of crap as the rest of the cable news networks.

This pretty much sums up my perception of this societies' constant 'offended' viewpoint.

I flipped on Tyra Banks show Friday afternoon trying to nurse a migraine and this 20 something girl was indignant about the studio audience thinking her name "Ashely" or something was trashy. In a "Me" generation with everyone focused on themselves I guess its a natural progression of people to be offended when someone doesnt have the same view point as you. Its becoming very similar to crying wolf. And it becomes very irritating when Christians are the main perpetrators of 'being offended' in today's society.bud

I don't see what this has to do with singling out Fox and its news? I also don't get what the dudes are all upset about. To be honest, I never thought of devil's food cake as a black, racist thing. I always just thought that since it was soo good and bad for you that it was the devil. Did he ever think of that or does he only think in terms of skin color and everything is named by skin color and people come up with these ideas when they name things? I'm sure whoever created devil's food cake said, "Hey, this is pretty dark...dark like a black man. Black men are the devil. I'm going to name this devil's food cake!" Who in the world looked at the words black hole and decided it was racist? That man should be shot...same thing for devil's food cake. I mean c'mon, seriously? How else do you want to define a black hole? This is just stupid. My take on racism today is that if one can only think in terms of skin color such as this instance, you're racist (along with the traditional forms of blatant racism). So in actuality, I personally find this person pretty hypocritical.
