A couple of local guys took their GT-R's to IDRC at Fontana last weekend. If you have ever ran at a dragstrip, you know that their are certain safety regulations in place for cars faster than 11.49. At that point you need a roll bar, fire jacket, and several other items. For this event, the GTR's were able to run N/T or no time showing on the scoreboard. One car is a stock 2012 with a midpipe. The other car is a 2009 with Greddy turbos, built engine, built trans, and about 770whp.

That white one looks like the nose drops on the shift from 1st to 2nd. Pretty nasty. Would NOT want to pull up next to that at a drag strip.

It does dip a little. GTR still has a manual box, just actuated though the paddles and dual clutch, dual shaft. Gregs car is pretty quick. Considering its not actually a drag car, aka on 20" R888, full interior, full everything. Actually probably heavier than stock, because we put a bunch of sound deadening behind the seats. Its on lowering springs, has STILLEN sway bars on it. Its a 770whp road racing car.

How much would it cost me to have you fly over here and tune my GT-R? Would I have to sell my three kids and a couple of body parts to achieve this goal?
