I heard a rumor on Zilvia that these 5Zigen's will be new for 2005. Can anyone confirm or deny these rumors?

wow those things actually look kinda good in the real world as opposed to their promo pics.

it's already been discussed though. splparts is going to carry them. we just need to know eta and sizes available now.

i want 17x9.5 +15 all around.

No special sizing, S13 - S14 sizes should be carried in that color.

No offense but those wheels are a custom job.

There is only one real black center - polished lip official FN in the US and it's a 17x10 that was shown at SEMA. It also has a machined center ... not a full black center. It also has FN01R-C on it in white, those wheels do not.

you totally sure about that? I mean jspec does kinda have a history with 5chicken. they've been sponsoring the jspec cars since back in the day. maybe they aren't a one off job? maybe another couple sets floating around?

and now that i look at that pic again on my work monitor (slightly brighter than home), those don't totally look like fn01rbleh's... the spokes look a little thicker. but i still can't tell totally.

I'm sure of it... 5Zigen only has that one wheel. If you'd like to verify that then call John or Tsuyoshi at Go-Chicken and they should confirm that. The one wheel was a proto sent by the factory a few days earlier prior to SEMA for market response. It then will take 2-3 months of production time to shell them out. 5Zigen is not going to give someone a custom make wheel that isn't available, that would be a marketing mistake and isn't how they do business.

Keep in mind I've been working with them on getting a set of the 17x9's made up for the 4-luggers and they are asking for 80 wheels to just custom make that one size.

mmkay.

plus i think i might nkow what they are now anyways. they look a lot closer to those motegis that chris had on his 350z fora while there. but the spokes look a little on the thing size to be those.

so long story short. i don't know what those wheels are.

Both wheels look good. When I called Alan for pricing on some 5Zigens I mentioned I'll be ordering Fikse FM10's in the same style black w/ polished lip. good to see the trend, so hopefully soon everybody will despise the trend and I'll be able to scoop up more & more black & polish wheels for better pricing!

Any idea when they'll be ready to order/ship?

I was told that it'll be out 2-3 months. Pricing is not yet determined. But it'll be a little over what the regular fn01rc cost
