So I'm not exactly sure what is going on with it but both of my rear doors will not open at all. At first it was just the passenger side one but eventually the drivers side one started doing it. Then magically one day the drivers side door actually opened, so I figured the latch just got stuck on the door post so I greased the hell out of it. Well this morning the drivers side was back to not opening. I've tried opening it from the inside still no go. It almost feels like the door is just not unlocking.

Has anyone run into this problem? And does anyone know how to get the inside door panel off from the inside without opening the door, it don't look fun. Thanks

If the doors won't open from the inside, check to make sure the child lock isn't engaged. If they won't open from the outside I don't know what to tell ya.

Ok let me figure out whats going on.

They wont open with the handles from inside and out?

When you use the unlock button does nothing happen?

Cant check this because its in the door jam and it would open from the outside still.

I have a feeling its your locking system malfunctioning because it seems kind of strange for both doors to seize on you.

Yeah it doesn't work from both the inside and out. I only tried the inside when it didn't open on the outside. I also think it has something to do with the lock but I can't get to them now. I might be crazy but it might be related to temperature, the driver side door started working again when it warmed up. Last night it got cold and it stopped working again. Passenger side is just not doing anything.

I dont think its possible to remove the door panel without opening the door but i have a couple of pics that may assist you.

I hope this kind of assists you in removal but you might have to try and remove the paneling beside the door to free up space so you can pop the panel out.

Good luck

I've taken the door off before (when I did my speakers), and I didn't think there would be a nice way to do it. But after looking at you pics, if there is a way for me to get the speaker grille off, pull the speaker then maybe figure out what the hell is going on.

I don't think that speaker grille comes off without cutting it out

Have you Dynamatted your doors? I had this same issue but it was because the connecting rod for the door lock had gotten stuck to some Dyanamat and my doors wouldn't lock (either electronically or manually).

Well it is def some kind of temperature related issue. It warmed up today and the drivers side door opens again. I guess its time to pull it off.

So I am still slightly mystified about the whole thing. But I greased the hell out of the drivers side door and will hope that helps. I am under the impression that the passenger side is not opening cuz the child lock might be on and the outside latch broke. Now I just need to figure out how to get the damn door open to fix it.

Not sure yet, I will have to wait for the temp to drop again. Now I need to figure out how to get that passenger door open
