I have a 1994 nissan d21 and had to repair the positive and negtive wires. Now it starts fine but when I drive it it cuts out as the rpm's go up. Why would this be.

umm there is like 200 positive wires and about 20 negative wires in a car

Yes, I repaired the positive and negative leading into the coil. I plugged the wires in on the opposite sides leading into the coil then corrected it when it would not start correctly. Could I have damaged the coil by doing that and trying to start it. Also the wire the leads to the coil from the distributor gives a sharp shock at the distributor. That how I found the bad wires while trying to resolve that problem
