what is up with you guys and your piepans. Those things are awfully ugly. Look at those max rims on that Q earlier in the thread, that's hotness.

What is it with this troll who doesnt even like nissan because they are problem prone....?

Piepans arent the best, but the chrome ones are the best of the piepans... THeyre not THAT ugly, plus they provide cheaper tires and *ahem* they last longer than other rims that bend easier...

Pie pans have always been fine with me. Even the less attractive forged early a model wheels work well for a long time. That is their purpose.

It is beyond stupidity to advocate that how a wheel looks when the car is parked is its most important attribute.

Right on man! I like your style.

I would like more info please.

Leather?BMW stuff???

What are you gonna do?

I loved my arm rest in my old 93 Q45 are they gonna do the armrest to?I do like the redisign of my 94 Q45a's armrest (but not that much)

I went to a car lot here after the 93 on the hunt for a Q45"a".

We saw a Sweet looking 94 Pearl & Camel. It had the worst recover you sould see the seams bad it looked real flat not 3D and plush.

I did like the seats better in the 93 more firm.I do like the lumbar and heat though.

I was wondering will they just take the old ones off and trace the pattern?Or is there a pattern your taking in?

I'm not trying to be a pest just gonna do the same very soon. If yours goes good and the "Price is Right" (registerd) my Q might get a B-Day gift besides the Texasoil Accumulators she got last month.

Her B-Day is 11\03

Big words from a guy who drives a Ford that looks like a teenage girl's version of a Dodge Intrepid.

Again, dumpster. Or maybe we can show him how roomy the Q's trunk is at the next NICO meet. I'll throw a flashlight back there for his comfort.

You shouldn't make fun of the way the Cougar looks..

You should make fun of the engine: MSRP from $16,955 Engine \ Horsepower

2.0L I4 \ 125 @ 5500

2.5L V6 \ 170 @ 6250 HA Even Honda can 180HP from 1.8 4cl.

Jedsa-

Do you have any pics of the new material for the seats? What did they quote you for the work?

Four panels on on the driver's seat (3 bottom, one back for $200) and two on the passenger (two bottom $125). Total is $325. There's a labor discount for doing two seats at once. The shop is Dr Vinyl is St Peters MO.

No pics of the material yet, will be doing the whole thing next week. Its actually a very nice looking vinyl that feels like leather.

Same price on heated sets. Wes suggested ordering new OEM seat pads from Joe, since it wouldnt add to labor.

It's not so much what you say .. But how you say it..

"what is up with you guys and your piepans. Those things are awfully ugly"Those Piepan's" are the BASE MODEL RIM for our cars.

Go look @ the steel wheel W\Hubcap (Base model) your TWO cars came with from the factory. And don't forget those rims made from 89-94.

They were based off Corvette wheels

Like my 300ZX: and my old 91 Maxima. Even the Hubcaps your 240 came with were all lookalikes.

Infiniti was just trying to stay with the Nissan wheels of the time which were all clones of the 84-87 Corvette's stock rims.

This car looks like it just drove off the lot and down a hill on a test drive in 2004. I don't think the rims throw it back any years.

I like some Fords.

I would never put a Cougar over a KA-T 240.Not on a Nissan Club site!!!!

And thus he continues in the infiniti forum.....

I will admit though, i dont like the piepans much, UNLESS they are perfectly clean... The chrome ones are the only way to go.....

Its normal tint thats burned out and turned purple. It keeps a lot of sunlight out and reduces the cabin temperature but no longer blocks out UV rays and anything that will damage leather.

Probably ought to look into some new tint before summer...... Even though vinyl is more resistant to that....
