Reproduction of what?

It is a good car.
If Ford USA turn it into a front wheel drive, I doubt we will buy it.
I prefer the Ford over the Holden.

Guess I had better get an XR6 turbo soon then!

Ah, I see.

It's not a reproduction here.

It's an evolution of the falcon model, and has been going for 50 years now.
It's actually a really good car.
I had an XR6 Falcon as my hire car last year.
I found it roomier, stronger, and better handling than it's Holden counterpart of the same year.

Ya, there have been a lot of these evolutions springing up. I will definietly agree with you when you say that. I just love classics, and these aren't going to be classics as we know them. I think that era should stay in that era so we know what to look for and enjoy. When we're in 2060, I don't want to be looking at 01' falcon's, I still want to enjoy the 1960's falcon's, ya know.

I'm sorry but I hate seening remakes. Then again, companies that have been around for a long time might see these remakes as "american classics" and hope they will sell just as good.

I want a Falcon Ute. I'm imagining a pickup that drives like a sport sedan and in my imagination its pretty awesome.

It's a modern day Ford Ranchero!

I've always been jealous that the Falcon stayed down in Oz and we never got it. A lot of the Ford marketing decisions baffle me. The Focus RS would have dominated sales in its market segment here in the states and I thought the lines on the Mondeo beat similar competitor offerings(not to mention Ford's own US lineup) hands down.

I think if we swapped our car market for the Aussie car market...nobody would mind.

Your imagination is fairly accurate, and guess what.....
You can have it as a 6, a turbo 6, or a V8.

I thought GM might have contributed to killing birds as well as Ford. Those last Firebirds with scoops/flares on top of scoops/flares were ugly enough to make anyone sick.

I didn't realize Furd was considering resurrecting the Falcon name in the US in the first place. My sister's first car was a green '68 2 door she called Perry (as in Perry green falcon), 6 cyl, three on the tree, Numb steering, awful brakes, soft ride, benchseats, and a chrome shift handle that would burn your hand in the summer. But it was built like a tank, started every time, and lasted several years.

In the us all of the marketing is for unmoddable family cars. Mini-vans and s*** SUV's dominate the market here. Dont blame Ford, its society fault.
