I was wondering if anyone came across a shifter for the new coupes? Ouu throw isn't real long right now and is fine, but if we could get a hurst type billet we could probably cut off about 30% and make it more crisp like the Z...

Just a thought

Can't wait for the mod list to start catching up, we need cat-back systems, headers and intakes!

so its not a billet shifter you are concerned about... its the throw... I have an auto so idk.. but put Hurst in the title and i bet you will get more response.

Still not sure if the shift knob can be replaced due to the reverse trigger.

See some discussion about it in this thread... zerothread?id=281998

Ah yes, that does cause difficulties the reverse trigger is a pull-up style, damn if it were a push-down it'd be much easier...

Momo may have one. I know they have some for the CVT type shifter. the Sentra SE-R has the same thing, so maybe try looking for one that would fit that? Maybe Nismo for the SE-R as well?

Momo products are cosmetic in the shifter market, they are purely for looks not shorter throws, actually I don;t think Momo has a performance line of anything from what I've seen just cosmetic, am I wrong?

yeah I don;t think there's going to be a short shifter any time soon, bummer...its amazing how much a difference they make, I installed one in my buddies C5 'Vette nad it dramtically shortned and stiffened up the throws, they again those vettes have monster throws out of the box.
