Billet Grille Question

Hey Guys,

Picked up my 2003 Pathfinder LE today, pumped so far. was looking for little things to change, found an old post about Billet Grilles VS Brush gaurds.

I think I am going to do the Billet Grille, my question is why does this...

... Not work on an LE model? at least that what the seller says in the product description.

Anyone got insight?

not for LE? He might have been mistaken. I ordered one as well from another company but was not pleased with how the grille actually mounted up with just some zip ties and tie straps so I ended up reselling it!

this is the answer I got from the seller when I questioned him...

"The size is same. but the difference isinstallation.

So that might answer why your's didn't fit rydebynite.

I asked if they sold a LE specific part but haven't heard back yet.

There is no difference between the LE and SE models (with respect to the grille area). The mounting should be the same for both models.

That looks like it should fit for sure but I doubt that the Nissan emblem is actually on the grille most people stick the emblem back on simply because the grille won't sit flush on the original front unless you remove the emblem off of the original grille. I know I did, If you are going this route your going to want to spray your original grille black so it doesn't show through. There used to be a 5 piece set that's what I bought but haven't seen it for awhile might pop up again somewhere.

There's no fitment difference between the LE and SE. The grille will fit on both.

seller stated that you need to do some cutting and grinding off your stock grille. i can see why you need to remove the emblem but to cut and grind some other stuff is beyond me

edit :: yep, just the emblem needs to be removed and maybe a little grinding down on the LE not a big job at all.... ill be getting mine in the next coming week once payroll comes in

I love the grille just be sure to clean it frequently or you will have spots appearing from dead bugs and other debris.
