I can't decide on which way to go. I was originally going to go with the grille guard but now I am not sure. After cleaning up the truck for the first time with the rims I think the grille guard might be to much.

My truck

Billet grille

Grille guard

i say itll look good either way. Ive considered getting the brush guard too. The thing is theres alot of extra weight so not as good gas mileage, and also the brush guard is more of an offroad thing that has quickly become street style. If you get a chrome one your looking at alot more time to clean. i still love the look of it though. I say billet grille though

I vote for the grill guard but definitely not polished metal, get a black powder-coated one. The polished metal looks cheesy mostly because of the black molding on it.

Billet grille on a silver truck for sure, looks hot, if it were a black car, stands out a bit to much

I have thought of both but not sure if it would look good. It actually made me think of maybe a bull bar and billet grille I think that would look good. I just need to see a pic of the combo. Anyone have one?

I'd vote Brush Guard but I might be a little partial... I also wouldn't go with chrome! But I just don't like a lot of chrome personally.

I say do both, but it would depend on what you are looking for, are you looking for more of an offroad look, then do the guard, if you are looking for more an of street look, go billet. I would Choose billet if I had to for my own as I do not really go off road

Personally, I'm not a fan of the billet grill. There is something about it that seems bland. It has no definition and doesn't seem to flow with the front.

The brush guard is nice, but no in chrome. "Brush" guard and "chrome" don't seem like they are supposed to go with each other. Sure, on the street, a chrome brush guard looks nice, but it reminds me of the idea of white hicking boots.

Have you thought about repainting your grill? There are all manner of colors on the rattle can shelf, so I'm not sure which one is best. I know there are metallic ones, but dark gray or black may look nice too.

I don't really understand what the big deal is with the billet grills either, but everyone's got a right to their own taste right? It seems like a ton of people really dig them, personally I like the stock look on my QX4.

the stock look on the QX4 is better than the PF i believe.

I prefer the billet grille over the pathfinder stock look because it was a five piece set and when i had no grill the openings below the main grill was just blank thought it was dumb and thought it needed to be filled.

IMO

Billet grill = hot rod custom. All good customs have billet grills. They may add some new lines, but the PF looks off with a billet grill unlike most American full size trucks.

I only really like lots of chrome on an SUV when it's a luxury SUV. I do love brush guards, I think black would be much better than chrome. It's 100 times better when the brush guard is matched with the factory paint.

Also, has anybody ever seen a Pathfinder with the black vents next to the fog lights painted to match the factory paint? I hate how much those things stand out.
