Bike rack for 240

i hate to bump a old thread but i guess its better than making a new thread. but does anyone who has a bike rack have problems opening the hatch? jw b/c im looking into getting one but i dont want to have to have the rack so angled up in order for the hatch to open.

look at the pic w/ my kid in it; i had it reversed so the bike is going backwards... on a fork-mounted bike rack...

on a whole bike rack, you can shift the whole thing forward a bit, but not too much to lose the center of gravity

sidenote: pic was taken in the kingsbridge bronx, where i used to live a while ago (went back to NJ d/t high cost of living there & didn't want my kids to "grow up" too fast)

Hey Guys, sorry for reviving this thread, but I wanted to find out if anyone knew what Q-clip (Yakima) would work for an S14?

I'm looking for it cuz I've got a couple of mountain bikes to carry, I could care less about the stickers.

So to get back to my question, anyone know what the Q-clips can be used on an S14?

If you put the rack on a 92 hatch wouldnt you have to take off the bike rails to open the hatch up? or do they slide forwardor sumthin? i think i might buy one

Looking for the guy who posted the photo of the Yakima Rack on an S14, or if anyone else knows, the Q-clip that will work with the S14.

yeah im intrested too its getting nice out (might hit 70 degrees) tomarrow and i want one asap. it would be nice not to have to jam my fbm into the rear seat of my car anymore
