Nissan didn't. It's a Straman conversion. Who also did a few Z32s before Nissan bought the rights and did it themselves.

Best estimates show around 350 were converted between 1984 and 1992. I'm still trying to find exact numbers.

edit: No. It's not a turbo.

Looks even better with the new wheels on it (polished 6-spokes from a G35 coupe).

I took a few minutes of non-rain time to take a couple pictures. The first three are from the previous owner just after we finished putting the wheels on it. So the rear suspension hadn't settled yet.
