Biggest Wheel/Tire you can put on an 01 pathfinder w/stock height????

I will eventually lift the car, but I wanted to know what the biggest tire I can run with a 17 and an 18 inch wheel???? I want to get the beafy look for now, until I can make up my mind and get the suspension I want. Thanx in advance guys

Speaking from experience if you have any plans at all to lift the vehicle in the future lift it first. Honestly I think you be more satisfied to lift the vehicle first before you go and spend money on tires. I put the biggest tire I could find on my stock '02 xterra, it was a 32.11.50.15, shortly after I lifted the vehicle and decided to go to a 33.12.50X15. Discount Tire was nice enough to cut me a deal but I was still out close to 500 bucks.

Well I wana enjoy the car in stock form and put some mileage on it, and I want to have 2 sets of wheels and tires. One for offroading and another for just regular street driving.

I am either gonna do 17 inch wheels w/ big tires, or 18 inch tires with big tires?? so any help on those sizes would be perfect.
