what is the Biggest tire size on s13 on 18X8.5 rims with stock suspensionI found a thread on the 350z forum... -$500 bucks on super hiro's by axis.those were for 19 in.. called them up .. they will honer it for the 18 in even for my 240sx.

question is they saying the tires i should get that they have in stock at a good price are

215 40 F225 35 R

as you see i kinda wanna do staggeredThe offset on both wheels are 35 so they should fit fine.my question is what is the widest tire i can do in the back and Safest wide tire i can go in the front ?

i been on the wheel thread seeing other peoples sizes.i know it depends on the tire.. dur, i'm just saying in general so i don't run into issues...

can i hit 235,245,255 no problem in the rear with 40,35,30 profile wheels.. what can i do. what would be the best setup ?

oh and are 215's safe on a 8.5 in rim or ?? the guy i working with over phone says it's straight, i remember reading some where and i believe they are ok, just wanna make sure.

I ran 215/45/18 on a 9.0 front, 9.5 rear, and it cleared stock susp. and it was slammed.. (cut springs lol.) but yea it will work.

But with that weak +35 offset, idk if it would clear.. i mean up front w/o spacers i have a +24 offset and it clears fine.. i would reccomend a bolt on 20mm spacer..

BTW its not the car in my sig.

45 is a bit huge. i hope the 35 height will work..in case of spacers needed where is a good place to buy such things?don't want crappy ones... (all it is is metal)but you know what i mean.. best bang for the buck.

also , would i need spacers still if i were to upgrade my suspension ?

45 is not too big on a mild stretch, but depending on what wheels your getting would determine if you needed spacers or not. Like for my wheels you need a 5mm up front to clear coils and thats on a 24 mm offset and bring it down to a +19.. anyplace is good for spacers, but i wouldnt reccomend slip ons cause you have to get extended studs. Find you some nice Bolt ons on Ebay, and read what they are made out of. you can find 15mm on ebay for 59 for a set of 2..

Here is a 215/45/18 with my stock struts and cut springs.

thats a +18 offset with unknown camber atm..
