yeah the can be a bit pricey i guess, but they're such an awesome thing to have. For what it does, i think it totally justifies the cost.

The hub nuts are big. 36mm, I think.

I think the biggest on the engine is 1 1/8th or 1 1/16th of inch on the bolt that holds the crank pulley on.

Crank Pulley bolt is 27mm.

Thought the hub bolts were 19mm. Not sure on that one.

Yup. These are the big nuts that attach the axles to the hub... the biggest ones i've seen on the 240sx so far.

The most common ones for the suspension/brakes is 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21?(LCA ball joint nut, not sure about the size), and 36 for the axle nut.

damn ur hatchback better be that crazy lol 3800 worth of tools that crazy i think sockets from 1-30mm in deep and regular tons of ratchets and extensions sounds good and of course the torque wrench and impact driver

anyone know if we need tons of wrenches or will the sockets fit in most of the places

a while ago before i had tools we used everything lol vise grips tore everything off for us it made a 5minute job become an hour what good is a man without his tools

my $100 craftsman socket set had every size i have ever needed with 3 exceptions: the front and rear hub nut (22 and 32mm if i remember right? maybe its 36 like the guys are saying) and a 20mm extended socket to adjust my parking brake.

um if you mess with cams a alot you need a 26mm wrench and a 21 mm socket i think, for got, i have my tools seprated into kits, like engine kit, suspension kit, interior kit, craftsmen tool are cheap so i go buy multiple set when they have sales. it makes it so much faster when working on something, cuz i have a lot of tool and digging through them is very annoying.

snap-on is the same way. lifetime warrenty on every piece in my set, so if in like 30 years a socket strips out i get a new one for free

Unless, although highly unlikely, they go out of business.

yeah but those are so expensive and you need them so rarely. If you were just trying to build up the commonly needed tools I'd leave that one out. Myself, if I need to mess with them (took front hubs off once) I just borrow them.
