Quick question, why does it sputter at the low rpm on the rolling road? One of my buddy's suggested that it was wastegate flutter or something like that? What kind of numbers it it putting out?
Anyways, I think I got it off SXOC a LONG time ago. Its been on my computer forever, and your screenname just rang a bell!

I got told within the last 3 weeks a CA in japan busted 700bhp..BigTone wrote:not yet mate
Yeah there has been a few from over in New South Wales, they've been doing well. I think theres just something in the water over there  But we'll soon make up.. go the CAs !!cortina-mk1 wrote:yea here in australia they never really say to much on power...
just what Quarter times they achievei think there are a couple of datto powered utes with CAs into the 9s
For now, I would safely say that this statement is true. Most people here are just trying to get and/or enjoy the CA18DET for what it's worth, let alone trying to extract mad power out of it. Now me on the other hand, tune for high performance (meaning 300+whp) accompanied by daily reliability.BigTone wrote:so is it fair to say that the most powerfull CA (outside Japan) is in the UK... at 620bhp
