We are in the process of swapping turbos for a friend so he can stop when he needs to.

Moral of the story: Clearance. Boiling your brakes is bad.

This has always been a common problem when you decide to go top mount.

Biggier is always better, so says me.

Different manifold would also help.

Turbo blankey, manifold wrap, thermal covers for lines are just a few things that come to mind, but damn that is ridiculously tight fit!

As you guys can see it rests on the brake line. IDK why they even mounted it and left it like that. I am in the classified seeing what we can replace it with right now. Got some good options ATM.

Many of the RB manifolds do the same thing when installing larger turbos on a LHD car. Solution was moving the turbo forward and positioning it where the downpipe would route away from the brake master...

btw this is a 3.5" downpipe, GT35R, Raw Brokerage manifold...

Turbo Blanket and wrap the back hose. Or you can make a shield around the exhaust housing of the turbo. This is what I have done installing my T70 Supra turbo. Believe me, bigger is better. ;)

Get a custom manifold made. That will give you more room. It won't be cheap though. You buy a cheap Ebay manifold it will crack on you.
