Is it possible to upgrade to bigger injectors without having to purchase an AFC? Do you really need anything at all? On some stores sites they talk about changing resistors and such, any info? I know that to get the most out of them you need to tune but I am hoping to wait a little longer until I have more money.

Thanks.

you cant run your engine with bigger or even smaller injectors than what the ecu is tuned for..I mean you could but it wouldnt run good at all..so you cant go and put the bigger injectors in and then save up for the tune..you gotta save up and put it all in at once..and are you planning on a turbo upgrade with this? because otherwise there is no point in upgrading injectors what so ever

Resistors are used with 72# MSD top feed injectors, which need a top feed fuel rail.

You can have the ECU ROM tuned to account for the larger injectors. Along with that work consider : Better fuel press. regulator fuel rail, better pump to feed the injectors. There are alot of variables, bottom line is.... What is your goal ?

I'm looking for something around the 280 horse mark. I think that the T28 should be able to supply enough boost( atleast for a while lol), but the 370cc injectors might wimp out on me. These are the planned mods: FMIC, pulleys, electric fan, clutch, boost controller, tubuler header, divorced chamber turbo outlet, 3 in. exhaust all the way back. I guess I would trade the injectors for a set of cams too.
