I got my exhaust installed this week. Now is time for the tune and be done or..............

adding a bigger cam (272 cam) and then the tune. It'll be pricey, but what do you guys think?

Also, since that head would come off, what else can be done? Would doing any head work damage the lower part of the motor?

I am not 100% on this. Just want some feedback from you guys.

Changing cams is completely pointless unless you are doing other major work too like going FI or other internal engine work.

I wish they made SC kits for our cars.

Doing cams is not pointless, and you don't need it to be FI or internal engine work. Cams increase the top end power, making the power band extend further on the RPM band.

Port n polish your heads and port match the exhaust ports to your exhaust manifold/ headers.

It takes very little work to adapt a G35 supercharger kit to our car since the engine is the same and we actually have more engine bay space than the G's

Cams alone with no other real mods to make use of the higher profile intake or exhaust timings will only add a very small increase in power while affecting other areas of the power band and possibly making the car idle rough. It will also cost north of $1500 to do which makes the entire thing worthless because there are better mods you can do that add more power for cheaper.

I agree LouCast. Definitely not worthless. Enigma is just saying that if you go that far, you might as well drop more into it. Has Fatboy been around? He knows how to go about that SC.

EZEMaxima, I don't have any headers. Porting those ports would definitely be done if I did though. I just don't know how far to go yet. I'm just tempted cause I love my car.
